About

Fairmount Park Elementary School opened as a three-building, one-story facility in 1957. It began with a staff of eight teachers, a principal, a secretary, and a custodian. Today, Fairmount Park Elementary School is a seven-building, multi-level facility that houses a staff of over 85 success-driven professionals who serve over 460 scholars. Our school has spacious classrooms, a renovated media center, one-to-one digital devices, and a computer lab. We serve scholars in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade and pride ourselves on aligning our daily "heart" work with our school mission. At Fairmount Park Elementary, we will promote the growth of lifelong learning and academic excellence by teaching the WHOLE child through a broad-based curriculum which fosters a positive self-concept, creativity, self-discipline, values, and life skills.
